My Background

Hi, I’m Artra Rice — a recent Public Relations graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a strong foundation in strategic communication and administrative operations, shaped by a distinguished naval career. I also hold an associate degree in Political Science with a focus on Paralegal Studies.

Driven by a passion for storytelling and community impact, I’m eager to launch my PR career in the fields of entertainment, lifestyle, brand marketing, sports, or government. My background has equipped me with exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills — all sharpened through real-world experience and academic excellence.

Beyond the professional, I’m a proud mom to a spirited nine-year-old and actively involved in my community. I volunteer with the local Innovation District, regularly attend PRSSA events to stay sharp in the industry, and make time for jogging and cheering on my son at his sports games.
